Some of my highlights of super art fight.
Pretty damn pleased with how this turned out. Original artwork (second pic) by the amazing Brandon J Carr and the rest by me. But let’s face it, Brandon did the heavy lifting.
Oh, and you should come to the show. Details here.
UPDATE: Shit’s fixed.
Check out the Super Art Fight gang jumping in slowmo. In the middle at the beginning? That’s LEEEROOOYYYYY JENKINS.

Speaking of which, digging back on the “super art fight” tag on Tumblr found this one from one of my students (and fellow internet awesome-preneur) Shabnam. Yes, there’s me rapping in there somewhere.

Found this short video from our Katsucon show this year (thanks to BlackjackViolin who uploaded it). I loved that show, and this also lets me see something I don’t normally see. What it’s like to WATCH a Super Art Fight. I’m always so busy on stage, I don’t get to be amongst the crowd and see it from their perspective. I love finding videos and responses that give an insight into what that’s like. Here’s the link if the vid isn’t working.
Also, we’ll be doing THIS but with THE INTERNET on Friday night at ROFLcon in Boston! Details here!
"EMMITSBURG — Artists did not pull any punches Saturday during the Super Art Fight at Mount St. Mary’s University.
It was all friendly competition, where the pen — bold marker, to be precise — was mightier than the sword. In several 20-minute bouts, two artists at a time went pen-to-pen on a giant piece of paper. They improvised, doodling, sketching and adding onto doodles based on random subjects provided by Ross Nover, the Super Art Fight master of ceremonies, and Darren J. Gendron, booking agent.
…
By the end of the night, the Super Art Fight team suffered defeat against the university team, The Really Loud Onomatopoeias. Nover cheerfully chalked it up to home-field advantage."
Front and back of the new Super Art Fight postcards, almost done. Line art of the UNI-PUSS by Michael “Spaghetti Kiss” Bracco, other stuff by me (clearly Bracco did the heavy lifting).

Thanks to Serenity Caldwell, Super Art Fight had the opportunity to perform last week at Macworld|iWorld in San Francisco. If you missed the live stream, we’ve got the full video here!
We had an amazing time and I’m hoping we get the chance to perform in San Francisco again!
Here we are performing in San Francisco! Thanks to Serenity, but also to Jamies Noguchis for doing all the necessary wrangling. It was a great trip!
